Software-Defined WAN (SD-WAN)
Aggregate WAN links into one virtual interface, measure link quality with Performance SLAs, and steer traffic with SD-WAN rules and strategies.
SD-WAN groups multiple WAN links (members) into a single SD-WAN virtual interface, giving intelligent, application-aware path selection, redundancy, and link aggregation. Members can be physical ports, VLANs, or IPsec tunnels (overlay). A route to destinations via the SD-WAN interface is still required — SD-WAN steers *within* what routing allows.
What does SD-WAN present the member links as?
